Come join the crew at Zadie’s Market as a line cook!
We know there are lots of opportunities for line folks right now. We hope you’ll work with us because we are a team where everyone matters, and where everyone is invited to grow their skills.
Located just 25 minutes outside of Asheville in the Old Marshall Jail, we are downtown Marshall’s newest hub for hanging out on the river, events and live music. We are looking for inspired line looks to join our quality-driven, hyper-local kitchen team.
Our open kitchen means you are front and center. We’ve only been open for a few months, but our line cooks have chatted with celebrities like rocker Morgan Wade, movie star Chloe Grace Moretz and Ween drummer Claude Coleman Jr.
The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook, be self-motivated, hard-working, and ready to learn our eclectic and team-oriented style of getting work done. Bonus points if you’re into great music and a friendly workplace!
Our Zadie’s Market kitchen will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and for Brunch/Supper on Sundays.
The compensation is $22 per hour ($17 base pay + approximately $5 tip share)
Zadie’s Market is a hybrid restaurant, market and delivery service built for the 21st century. We’re interested in connecting farmers with consumers in whatever form is most convenient. Our commitment to seasonal, local ingredients extends through our grocery offerings into our prepared foods. As part of the Zadie’s Crew, you’ll have access to an extensive, established network of farmers from around WNC. The Old Marshall Jail houses our brick and mortar market, a cool beer and wine bar, our kitchen, a wonderful patio overlooking the French Broad River and a boutique hotel.
If you think you’d be a good fit for our awesome team we’d love to hear from you! You can apply directly by email with a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org
